US1 is down for a disk replacement - one of the disk array drives started producing errors and we brought the server down urgently, lest there is any data loss. Our datacenter engineers are working on the problem.
We will update this post when the issue has been resolved.

Oct 24, 2013 16:32 UTC: Update - the issue appears to have affected more than one disk. A new server has been being set up to replace the old one. We will start restoring the accounts on it from our latest healthy backups ASAP.
Oct 24, 2013 17:35 UTC: Update - the new server is online and we are restoring accounts now. The disk corruption has affected some customer data and we are using our offsite monthly backups to restore accounts. Some clients might experience data loss.
